Money talk

Since I have decided that I am going to keep this website, I want to find some way to pay for it, and eventually to compensate myself for the value of my work. For now, I’m exploring how to monetize with affiliate advertising.

The online bookshop contains a curated selection of design books, historic preservation books, memoirs, and fiction. I’m updating the inventory daily so if there’s something you would like to see, please let me know. Soon I hope to add some of my favorite books on decluttering and organizing.

Bonus offers like this one from Michigan State University Federal Credit Union are another option for affiliate advertising revenue. If you open a new account with MSUFCU, you will receive $25, and so will I when you use my welcome code: 3BA56A92B8BB. I especially like that this is a hometown business.

Use code 3BA56A92B8BB for us both to get a $25 bonus.

Clean skincare and makeup from BeautyCounter is a third potential revenue stream. I have been a fan of BeautyCounter’s products for years because of their commitment to avoiding toxic ingredients, environmental responsibility, and feeling of being a daily luxury. The bottles, jars, and tubes are all pretty enough to use as décor, the products smell amazing, and they work well, too. I recently became a consultant with a website here. If you are a new customer, you will receive 20% off your purchase.

I intend to add more affiliates as time goes by and I hope that people will feel encouraged to use these links in order to show support for this site. If you are interested in advertising, please get in touch.
